The epic-S 940nm diode laser is designed as a power tool for treating nasal and oral cavity tissues. It allows users to control the power output with settings up to 10W. epic-S tissue ablation can be applied in three different modes: tissue contact, non-contact, and interstitial. This level of control allows for site-specific tissue ablation, which in most cases can result in minimal bleeding. Procedures performed with the epic-S can be less painful and typically increase patient’s comfort and shorter recovery times. The epic-S delivers its ablating energy via 100mm long, fiber optic ENTipsTM, which are malleable with a diameter of only 0.4mm.
Using the epic-S with its ENTipsTM results in:
The epic-S diode laser is a versatile treatment powerhouse in a small footprint. Using a vivid touch-screen user interface, accessing treatments, and setting the power output is as simple as pressing a button.
Full physician’s-controlled, pin-point targeted ablation, preventing collateral ablation of unrelated tissues which can result in lower pain, less tissue trauma, and shorter recovery.
